The Bumbo

This was Ava's first time in the Bumbo. She likes it but can't figure out how to hold her head up and put her hands in her mouth at the same time. Her hands are her newest fascination. She is either staring at them our sucking on them all of the time.

Ava is 3 and 1/2 months old!

I am amazed that little Ava is already approaching her 4 month birthday. Month 3 went by so fast. She is doing very well at 13 pounds, 6 oz and 24 and 1/2 inches. As you can see, she still has those amazing blue eyes. Unlike the boys, she is already sleeping all night and prefers to be laid down in her crib when she is tired.

Jacob's Smile

I never could have imagined that when Jacob was born twelve years ago that this incredible smile would lighten my life with such amazing love and joy. Just when I thought he was getting to old for me to love on him, this note was taped to the door as I left this morning:

To: Mom

From: Jake the Snake

"Kiss me goodbye before you leave for work. I love you."

So, as I was about to walk out the door to go to work, I turned around and went to my husband and three kids while they were still tucked warm in their beds and kissed each one of them. What a blessing each of them are. I also had to say a prayer to thank God for an almost 12 year old who still wants to be kissed goodbye.

Bath Time!

Ava loves her bath as you can see in this picture. She is such a joy and smiles and coos all of the time especially when her brothers talk to her.
